How Real Email Delivery Operates

Web browsers cannot open raw TCP sockets directly to SMTP port 587/465 due to browser security policies. Emails are dispatched via one of two delivery modes:

Live Web Server Relay (Recommended for Production): When deployed to your domain's hosting (cPanel, Hostinger, Apache, PHP), the included api/send-email.php script receives requests and connects directly to your SMTP server (smtp.gmail.com).
Cloud API (Zero Server Needed / Immediate Testing): If running locally via file:// or on static hosting, use a free Resend API Key (3,000 free emails/mo) or Web3Forms to deliver live emails straight from the browser right now!
